Pinsonneault Driving School was founded in 1976 by Rick Pinsonneault.  We have been serving the southwestern Vermont area since then and continue to provide quality instruction for both adults and teenage drivers.  Our focus has always been to provide students with the necessary skills and mindset to become courteous, cautious and defensive drivers.

Our school along with our instructors are fully certified and licensed through the State of Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles.  We are insured with liability limits of $1,000,000.00.

We take pride in our service and are continually flattered by the positive feedback we receive from our students both young and old.  We are calm and relaxed.  We do not raise our voices especially in the car where a “mellow” tone allows for more concentration and learning without fear.

Richard J. Pinsonneault (Rick) is the owner and primary instructor of Pinsonneault Driving School.  He was educated in Bennington and received and Bachelor of Science degree in Driver and Traffic Safety Education from The University of Central Missouri in 1972.  His education has continued through the years by attending numerous clinics, courses and seminars up to this date.  Rick served on a task force in earlier years with other educators and state officials.  This task force was set up at the state level and had numerous meetings in Montpelier, (the VT state capital).  The focus was to enhance driver safety throughout the state at all levels with heavy emphasis on young drivers.

Julie Crosier is a part time classroom instructor who has brought a new and fresh presentation to the class atmosphere.  She has been recently certified and the students truly enjoy her style.  Julie also currently is a Physical Education instructor at the Mount Anthony Union Middle School.
